Main fields of work/interest

- Identification of soil animals on species level (Collembola, Oribatida, Staphylinidae) for companies, universities and national parks including the making of permanent slide preparation.

- Writing of scientific reports and articles about soil animals including statistical analysis.

- Excursions to get knowledge about insects and other animals in forests and meadows (mainly for groups of students).

- Cooperation within ecological projects sponsored by different institutions with the focus on the identification of the soil fauna (e.g the project “EDAPHOBASE” sponsored by the BMBF).
